The Fry

금욜 오후 여자 검은색 옷 알바생 싸가지도 없고 개념도 없네용. 손님 물음에 대답도 안 하고 고개만 까딱까닥 거리고 뭐가 그리 불만인지 페이 내고 체인지 안 받는데도 고맙단 말 한마디 안 하고, 같이 온 친구도 저 서버 뭐 화난 거 있냐며 왜 저러냐 말하던데 금요일 핫한 밤 시간대에 왜 손님이 하나도 없는지 알겠네요. 덕분에 금요일에 기분 더러운 식사했습니다!

We visited for lunch. There was just one waitress. She well received by the requirements we want, and extremly friendly. We ordered half-and-half chicken, and it was so much that two people couldn't eat it all. I understood why the price is high. We're going to visit again next time!

Spent over $100's & 20% tip given but had to break $100 bill to get a container of radish pickles ($1.99).. Service level changed a lot from the opening.

Server is friendly and kind. Also food is the best. I am sure I'll be right back!

We went in right when they opened today. The server never greeted us at the door with a hello and a smile, she just pointed at the table she wanted us to sit at, from behind the cash register; her vibe was a little negative (not a big deal, though). The music was very loud and clubby-sounding. I was there with my wife and 2.5 year old son - we're an obvious, quiet, middle-aged couple with children. The server did not read the room very well (we were the only people there), so I politely asked her to turn down this music - She said ok, but I don't think she actually turned it down (maybe from like 50 to 49). With the vibe that she had already set when we arrived, I didn't want to bother her more (and end up feeling even more of a negative vibe), so I just let is be and hoped that the food would at least be good. We ordered a large size, boneless, cheese powder chicken. We were quite disappointed. It was like deep fried battered air. It's all batter, no chicken - seriously, when you pick up each piece … each piece is super light, because there's next to no chicken inside. The entire serving was also really light. I only felt the weight of the plate it was served on. I read a lot of reviews about the portions being huge ... yes, they look huge, but if you feel the actual weight, it's nothing, just deep fried battered air. Not Good. We ate the heaviest pieces we could find, only ate maybe 1/4 of it. We gave the rest away to a random person. Waste of $60. Perhaps maybe we should have ordered bone in? (they charge extra for boneless, though). They gave us free cheesy corn though, which was nice (and tasty). The fries were ok. The interior décor is nice as well. I'm sure the server is a nice person, maybe she was just having a bad day. She could have turned the music down, though ... My wife said it's likely more of a place for young people, not families, so maybe I was being unreasonable by asking her? If you want the best Korean Friend Chicken, Eat @ bb.q chicken - so much better (it's seriously the best!)

Wanted to try the Korean fried chicken but ended ordering something else, rice cake, was delicious just a but spicy for me the more I ate it the more I wanted though, will definitely visit again to try the fried chicken, service was okay, they could do better, I know it's self ordering but they can take the time to ask how or if you need something which she didn't.
