Great place to hang out with friends or have a date!

I went there with 2 friends for a quick drink. I had a delicious cocktail with Mezcal (can't remember the name) and we ended up ordering the Chocolate Crunch dessert which was out of this world! I would go back just for that, but now I really want to try their other food as well. The menu looks amazing. The atmosphere was cozy yet upscale. I highly recommend this place!

Best service and meal I've enjoyed recently (in a neighborhood place I'm not a regular). The Host greeted me pleasantly and offered me a seat at the bar - other options given. The bartenders assisted me with ordering the best choices for me: kale salad, tartar (next time ask for easier oil, steak awesome), tortellini with mushrooms and truffle, and raspberry sorbet for dessert. I have leftovers. I just wish they opened earlier as I'm a 2-3 dinner person. I cannot recommend this restaurant more strongly. So glad I stopped in again.

Excellent food and service. The steaks were some of the best Ive had in Chicago and it's not a steakhouse. Great spot for whiskey lovers.

We really enjoyed everything we ordered: oysters, wagyu tartare, tortellini, mussels, and chocolate crunch. Everything was expertly prepared. I love oysters, order them whenever I can, and their preparation and accoutrements stood out. I was pleased to see a Sancerre Blanc by the glass on the menu, a proper white, especially with oysters. The restaurant has the vibe of a speak-easy hideout, perhaps from the period of prohibition. Very good atmosphere. It was not too loud, either -- I could hear my dinner partner, which is not always the case at other, buzzy restaurants.

Outstanding! Will definitely visit again. The seabass melts in your mouth, the broccolini was a smokey goodness, and the mango cheesecake had the perfect balance of sweet and tart.

Awesome place tucked under the rail track. Very friendly service, great selection of whiskies, and the food is great!

Had a dreamy evening of mouth watering dishes and cocktails. Enjoyed an evening of spontaneous birthday celebrations here. Andrew took exceptional care of us plus made terrific recommendations. Will look forward to returning here.
