Came here for a birthday party and sat in the downstairs private room. It's a kitchen and was a really cool space. We got a lot of food. Faves were the French Onion Rings, Mozz Sticks, Tuna, Whipped Cheesecake dessert. I shared the burger and they plated it in half which was really nice. The only dish that missed was the cheesesteak buns. The buns were really tough and hard to chew through which was unfortunate because the ingredients within it were delicious. This is a great spot with incentive food options.
Overall the food was average and the cocktails were not very balanced. Our waiter was slightly passive aggressive and seemed annoyed by our presence after we sent the first cocktail back after two sips for being way too strong since we could only taste the Mezcal and nothing else. Instead of just taking the cocktail and replacing it she challenged us on it and seemed slightly standoffish. She questioned if we knew a lot about the taste of Mezcal (which we are extremely familiar). She took the drink back only to come back and ask my husband to try it again without making any modifications stating that she could "taste the lemon" which goes to show you couldn't taste much else the Mirage cocktail entailed. She did end up taking it back after my husband insisted that the cocktail was too strong and he ended up getting something else which was better. Aside from the lacking customer service our first visit, I think this place is still pretty decent and would come again.
Called 4 days in advance to make a brunch reservation for a group of 8 on Sunday for my mother's birthday. I was told they cannot accommodate parties more than 7 on a weekend. Seriously?! I could understand if I waited until the last minute but what I don't understand is how you put an odd number of people at a table and cannot accommodate 8. This WAS my go to brunch spot, I will never go back
I have been here a half dozen or so times, and the food has always been consistently delicious, be it brunch or dinner. The portion sizes are generous, and the menu takes inventive spins on a lot of comfort food/bar food items. The vibe is upbeat and service always friendly. Definitely a favorite Baltimore restaurant!
Great atmosphere with great food
Our first time here. We chose seating at the bar instead of a community table that we were offered. Food was delicious. Steak and short rib were cooked perfectly as we ordered. There was more food on the menu that we wanted so we will be back. The Amish pretzels weren’t salty but more sweet dough like bread but still delicious
