The Fish House

Catfish meal was great! Wife had the Cod dinner. She tried my Catfish, said it was better.

The food is good. The fries are really good. The only problem is everything's fried and soybean oil. Me and my wife and my parents were all sick after eating here. To be completely fair, I should have asked beforehand.

This place has excellent service and the fish is made to order. DELICIOUS Parking: It is a very small parking lot so you may have to park and walk a bit.

Wife and I are always looking for a good fish restaurant. We found one. Curious about the ratings the Fish House had we checked it out. Ratings were accurate. The gentleman behind the register was very helpful. Once my wife said that it was our first time there he went all out explaining the menu and the crazy number of sides offered. Over a dozen compared to 5 or so at other restaurants. We ordered fish and chips and I was stuffed when I finished eating. Wife brought home a lot of her meal. The building was a remodeled previous structure ( possibly a service station). Concrete floor was a little wonky out in the dining area but that was part of the fun. Dining area seating at most of the restaurants we've been to are too sterile. Like a hospital room designed for easy cleaning and germ free environment. Stainless steel and hard plastic chairs are not features conducive to relaxed dining. Parking was kinda limited to a dozen or so spaces. We arrived at @ 2:30 and the place was not at all crowded. Super service,great food and relaxed dining really made our day. If that wasn't enough the manager/ owner stopped by our table to thank us for coming by. A personal touch mostly ignored in other establishments. We'll be back.

What more can I say about the Fish House that people don't already know? It's always good and prices are reasonable.

Definitely the go to fish house must visit local mom and pop all prepared fresh to order

There's something about an established neighborhood joint building out from its humble origins. The need to expand but the refusal to leave. Fish House exudes everything I love about this city with quality fried fish and a charm you simply can't buy.

Food was wonderful and staff were super friendly and helpful. I didn't know jalapeno tartar sauce was something I needed in my life until today. So delicious <3
