Stepped in for dessert in a glass of wine. We got the almond chocolate cake and it was absolutely delicious. Bartender was delightful and took the time to explain each wine. We will be going back for a full dinner
Pretty disappointed in the food for the price. The risotto was very mediocre and undercooked, some of it was still hard. Served was great though.
I visiting The Fifth String pop-up, not Attimo. Although The Fifth String DOES serve Attimo Wine, And their offerings are surprisingly elevated! Attimo is presently hosting The Fifth String pop-up (I know, I was shocked also! They moved and had their new location fall through, so Attimo is hosting them until their new-new location is ready. The pop-up has some of the amazing standards from the full kitchen version from what was once their LoHi location. Still present are the sumptuous Tallow Candle bread service. The rest is a bit more variable. But still excellent, all of it. The Little Gems salad is splendid. I think that everything that The Fifth String does is unique, inspired, and a gift to Denver. Czech out the pop-up before they relocate! Thank you Attimo for giving us opportunity to continue to enjoy The Fifth String!
Delicious and with solid wine options. No chefs menu but every dish was delicious. Great service with good explanations of each dish. Would like to see more specials; hoping for seasonal menu rotation. Will definitely try again.
Top-notch service and friendly ambiance, but the food didn't quite hit the mark. A limited menu aimed for perfection, yet the chicken tasted canned. The crab cakes, while not bad, leaned towards the mediocre side. Was Hoping for a tastier experience. We couldn’t make a reservation to any restaurant in the area , while this one was pretty empty, now we know why.
HOLY SH!T. How is this place not the busiest in Denver?!? Best meal I have had in Denver yet. Chef and bar crew went WAY above and beyond with allergies, and made a point to say they take allergies as a challenge and fun option not a burden (wow, seriously? A blessing). The drinks and the food were incredible. The tallow candle perhaps the most fun and inventive despite being just the option for bread to start—really set the bar high! Chef brought out more bread with the “Gems” salad—also whoah…it has no business being this delicious?!?! We got the chicken and short ribs both sans dairy and wow—if these options were on the menu all the time we wouldn’t have asked questions before ordering. We paired dinner with a natural orange wine that’s so new it was off menu, but a perfect calm wine pairing to highlight the food without overpowering and yet compliment it more—hat’s off to the wine crew! The dessert we were again pleasantly surprised by how rich a non-dairy orange chocolate sorbet could be! Paired with a Negroni twist and the chai cocktail on menu it was SO GOOD! Seriously cannot wait to take friends here from out of town as it’s one of the first non-taco spots that I want to recommend and the food plus drinks were out of this world. Dietary restrictions: Chef went above and beyond to accommodate and WOW the dishes seemed even more impressive than the menu offerings. The bar staff also paid attention and made tailored recommendations. So grateful that dairy-free was even more fun to accommodate than the traditional menu might have suggested?!?!
Such a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The staff where so friendly and incredible at what they do. Thanks for a wonderful dinning experience. Surely will be coming back soon. Cheers!
