I enjoy taking my nephews here. They get to experience all of the activities and I get to live vicariously through their complete elation of being a kid. Being a military family, I always throw $20-50 at Pulltabs since the VFW manages this portion of the FairOn4. Like any game of chance, I usually am just making a donation to a good cause. I’ve won a few times with $599 tickets and always share the newfound wealth with my favorite PullTab Host; I think her name is Lorrie (Laura?) and my usual “M.O.” is to tip 50% of winnings. She’s happy, VFW is happy, I’m happy, Nephews are happy, the Fair is happy. What a happy place!!! Thanks for the memories.
I was there for a work event, so can't speak to pricing, but the food was fantastic, games and gocarts and axe throwing all looked fun and well maintained, and the bartenders were friendly and attentive
Ax throwing is so much fun.
We went there specifically for the Go Carts. We made reservations and paid online. After we got there my 12 yo daughter was turned away because they didn't have a helmet that would fit her. So I let my son go, while I stayed behind with my daughter. We were all excited to race, but was VERY disappointed and frustrated when they didn't have the proper safety equipment for her size, even though she met the age limit and weight restrictions. We wouldn't have even gone if we would have known prior to going that she wouldn't be able to drive.
Extremely rude and demanding pull tab lady named Laurie she was demanding a 10% tip when my other half won $599 on a pull tab I'm sorry but all you did was count him out 10 tickets so why do you need a $60 tip? There is no law on tipping for pull tabs he did tip you before and he did tip you again this time and there's no law on it so stop being a greedy Queen Bee. Demanding tips is extremely unprofessional and typically it's 5% of a winning not 10% and again there's no law against it so stop being greedy and learn how to do your job professionally.
The staff was amazing and very helpful! Would definitely recommend! There’s a little something for most ages, not much for the real little ones.
