Stunning food. Will definitely go back for more!

I absolutely love the idea of an Indian Mixed Grill Sports Pub. I think it was much needed in a city like Nottingham. My favourite dish would be the Emerald Fries. I was surprised at just how addictive it was! Plus, they show the IPL apart from Football and Rugby, which is always a positive thing for a cricket fan like me. Worth a visit.

Replacing a Sunday lunch favourite was going to be a tall order but The Emerald definitely offers something different that I can see working. With a good range of Indian grills in single portion tapas style or large and easily sharable sizzling platters (we had a mix of both) it can be the addition to the drink you popped in for or the full meal you wanted. It has plenty of tables that are isolated enough from the bussel of the main bar and sports if a meal is required. The selection of tandoori style grills was very tasty and served with a nice selection of table sauces. My only point against was that the forks were a bit flimsy for ion the bone meat but most the ones we had r better picked up.

Great food. And service . Tapas bistro sports bar . If you like your food a bit spicy,then this is the place. Great sizzling hot dishes with plenty of choice on the menu. Prices very competitive. Give it a go . You won't be disappointed

came here for a quick bite at lunch time, the food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. I had the Chicken Tikka wrap, which was delicious. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Venue freezing, had no heating on so sat there in jackets all night. Wouldn’t allow us to set up a tab so had to pay every time we ordered more food or drinks. No table service in the restaurant. Fries were awful, they were around £6 and were not cooked through properly, no crisp to them what so ever. Very disappointing overall, a lot of work needed to improve this place.

Excellent, vibrant and atmospheric pub with outstanding mixed grill offerings. Being from the West Midlands I'm rather fond of a desi pub, and The Emerald does not disappoint

Went for partners birthday meal was fab, ordered loads of sides and we all left full. Excellent prices and really nice food, can’t wait to be back!

Amazing food and amazing service. Alex and the team looked after a group of 20 of us really well. Grilled platters were unreal. Succulent and flavoursome. Highly recommend this great place.
