5/22... Great lunch I had the steak salad which was delicious and my dining partner had the Caesar chicken wrap. Service was prompt. 7/5/22... Had the steak salad again today. It appears there's a new cook as I got chopped onions that were deep fried on the salad instead of the typical croutons. The onions were out of this world. Then I added a hot lava cake for dessert. 6/23/23- Salmon Florentine was absolutely delicious. This restaurant is closing on 6 25 23. They are going to revamp it ,& apparently new owners are taking over.

My family absolutely loves The Downwind Cafe for breakfast! We’ve had just about everything on the menu, but my one son loves the yogurt parfait and my other son absolutely loves the chocolate chip pancakes. For me, I think their western omelette is one of the best I have ever had and I also have them add mushrooms and tomatoes to mine, which makes it even better. We’ve been there for breakfast lunch and dinner and all the breakfast is our favorite. Every meal we’ve had there has been really good. The service is usually very good as well and all of the servers are very accommodating and personable. This time we had Shawnte as our server and she was awesome! On cooler nights they have a fire pit out which is nice to have a drink around if you are waiting for table or just want to sit outside. Will definitely be back to this restaurant as it has one of the better breakfasts in the Port Orange area. Parking: They have plenty of parking right there at the restaurant.

Had the BBQ pizza today. Was absolutely fantastic
