The Double Windsor

not sure if everyone was drunk or their tastebuds are burnt, but that mac and cheese literally taste like noodles with a cream sauce…not a cheesy sauce like heavy whipping cream and breadcrumbs literally nooo taste!! please be honest in the reviews guys i really was expecting better based on all the wonderful reviews ab the mac I just wasted my money.

Went to this bar after the movies nearby… my friends and I were the only Black people in the bar, which normally wouldn’t matter until we were denied service. We ordered 2 rounds of shots for the group because we were celebrating. 10 mins later my friend went to the bar to buy the next round and the bartender told her no because “she had done 6 shots in 10 mins” Mind you, these shots were for multiple people. My friend didn’t hear at first, so the bartender proceeded to tell her they don’t usually serve her kind of college crowd (I graduated years ago). We entered the establishment respectfully and soberly and we all had cups of water, so I can’t help but conclude we were refused service so that we would leave. And given the neighborhood they probably weren’t thrilled to host a party of Black people.

Went day drinking at The Double Windsor for my birthday. The bartender was welcoming and the place seems family friendly with a few regulars. The mussels were delicious and there are several options for tap.

So happy that NA Beer is served! Made my day!!!!
