The District: Seville Steak & Seafood

A steak and seafood restaurant located in the heart of Downtown Pensacola! The District provides a cozy, modern fine dining experience! Atmosphere: The space has a combination of brick and wood accents with a beautiful stairway in the entrance! The tables are covered with white table cloths; and depending on where you’re sitting, you get a view of the street! Service: We had a larger party, but our waiter took care of us like a champ! We were constantly checked up on and received our drinks and food quickly! Menu items: I got their Scottish Salmon Oscar for dinner and had their birthday dessert to end the night! (Celebrated here for my 22nd birthday!) The dining experience here is unique as the restaurant is in Pensacola’s more historic downtown district. They also have a glass window that shows their meat storage that you can find on your way to the restroom!

My wife and I go here a couple times a year. We love the food and the service is always top notch. We look forward to going back.

Steak was over cooked, salad was wilted, baked potato was undercooked, oysters rockefeller had me on the pot for half the next day. Should have known after the first one I shouldn't have ate another. Service was poor at best not one refill of water and our mixed drinks came well after the main course. Four us with a bill of five hundred dollars for something I could have whipped up at home for a qtr of that, steaks had zero flavor and my cut was full of fat and gristle, I will not be returning I've said that before about the district yet here we are..

The District is right in the heart of the hip Pensacola downtown. It was my first visit and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent. From the friendly hostess to my server, who knew fine dining, they know the hospitality business. I ordered the chateaubriand for 2. Mouth watering and only $140 with mashed potatoes, asparagus. Other people in our group had various steaks all cooked perfectly and seasoned right. We tried calamari and several appetizers along with the onion soup. That is a MuST. It’s caramelized nicely. The deserts were amazing and worth the calories. The melting chocolate dome one was the bomb. I recommend The District highly.

Service was great. Ordered the crispy calamari w/smoked romesco sauce and was amazing. Filet was perfectly seared and tender, best I've had in years. Everyone at the table were very happy with all the dishes that they ordered. We will definitely stop in again when we visit again later this summer. On a side note: I don't normally brag up vegetables, but the asparagus w/bearnaise sauce were outstanding... could have eaten them as main course and been happy.

Marvelous! I do not honestly do not know where to start other than, Marvelous! My wife and I have been blown away on more than a couple occasions by The District. Service is great and the meal is out of this world. Their named cocktails are VERY good, their twists on the Old Fashioned were impressive. The appetizers are nice portions and taste amazing. Over our visits we have had the crabcake, scallops, oysters (raw and Rockefeller) and lamb lollichops. Dinner was, and has always been, just phenomenal. I have never strayed from the Tomahawk for myself and it is great every time. My wife has had the Delmonico, Tomahawk and Parmesan Scallops and said it was all delightful. We have such a hard time choosing sides we always end up with four, the crawfish mashed is a given as well as the cream spinach, we added the sweet potatoes this last visit, we have had almost all and all are great. The Caesar Salad is very good, bisque great, French Onion...amazing! Do not remember what we had the first few times for dessert but they were all good, this last visit we had the chocolate cake that was part of the Valentine's Day menu and it was very good. Wine selection is quite expansive but, the Mollydooker Blue Eyed Boy is our bottle of choice, and I always finish the evening with a nice port, of which they have several. I cannot recommend The District any more. We will be back soon.

My husband and I love The District. We have been here three times in the last few years. We are not locals - we lived in Pensacola for about a year a few years ago. Each time we went to The District we enjoyed our time. The servers each time were very good and tentative. Their food is our favorite and worth our money for a special dinner. Our steak was cooked wonderfully and very tasteful. We couldn’t get enough of their calamari, the brussel sprouts and the mashed sweet potatoes as sides. And the atmosphere is clean, well kept and pleasant. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely visit here again!

Decided to celebrate my wife's birthday here and went all out. It was good and at a decent price point for what we got. The filet was amazing, very good. The dry aged new York strip was good but not what I was expecting. I don't think I'll get it again, but I also never had dry aged steak before. The fries and lamb were really good. If you go here, I would recommend sticking to the basics since they were really good at that. Overall, great place would definitely go back.
