Charming pub in St Katharine Docks Basin. Beautiful and calm area close to the Tower. Good selection of beverages in the Tavern bar. Did not try the food in the Grill restaurant.

Quite lively atmosphere but the garden salad I ordered was dreadful. Loads of soggy spinach...bit of carrot and avocado....inedible broccoli. Didn't mind waiting as it was really busy but ugh it was grim.

Perfect for over cooked steak, tough beef roast, flat Yorkshire's, flat beer. Also asked for 2 sprites, didn't taste right, when we complained they said they had run out and they basically tried giving us sparkling water with a lemon slice and charged us for the lemonade. I don't appreciate being mugged off on purpose. Slow service poor food, why bother? Avoid if you enjoy good food and drinks. Chefs out of their depth.

This was such a great spot. I've been a couple of times. Amazing setting, food and kind staff. I love coming here and bringing visiting friends!

Nice place (we were there for a seminar) and also a superb summer watering hole with lively crowds.
