Delicious food and drinks!
The Dawson is a stable for brunch enthusiasts seeking a vibrant summer vibe. Their menu features refreshing cocktails, perfectly poached Benedicts, crispy potatoes, and a standout fried lobster appetizer. It’s the ideal spot to soak up the sun and enjoy a casual meal with friends. Their brunch ends at 3 (sorry can’t recall). But they have a monthly burlesque style brunch to keep an out out for!
Imagine ordering a grilled cheese with cheese, bread and butter delivered separately. Yes, that's how my deconstructed coconut curry arrived at the table... Paired with service staff that awkwardly loops the restaurant every 5 minutes and gives you weird looks with no actual service. Avoid like the plague.
Was welcomed with such positivity. The food was great, and the service was top-notch. Had a wonderful and memorable brunch.
That lamb shank was one of the best lamb shanks I’ve ever had! Thick, meaty, fall off the bone juicy and it was a huge portion, had to share it and I enjoyed it. The Dawson gets 10/10 for ambiance (music not too loud, could hold a decent conversation at the table), service (our waitress was so sweet and attentive), and food (nailed it). For starters we had the chicken fried lobster and wood-fire grilled octopus which were both so delicious. Mains were the lamb shank which was a delight and the wood-fire grilled elk which was delicious. Ending the night with some lovely 3 ice cream mix. Great night out, will definitely be back!
The ceviche was delicious, but the portions were too small for the price. Please give more and just upcharge the appetizer and add tortilla chip with the ceviche.
Great food and wonderful atmosphere!
Great and received great service with a smile.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was incredible as was the service we received from our waiter who was pleasant and made our experience a happy one. The appetizers we had were the ceviche, the bread, and the duck wings which were all incredible! My partner had the Amish chicken which was amazing! It was well cooked and melted in your mouth. My friend had a burger which she stated was wonderful and tasty. I enjoyed the seafood chowder which had a lovely taste and worth the money. After consulting with my buddy who was visiting from Costa Rica he was disappointed with the pork chop that he ordered. He stated that at least 40% of his plate was pure fat and overall subpar to put it nicely. The bar was incredible with minimal waiting!
