The Counter

Stopped in today for a burger to go. Had a very nice bartender take good care of me. Never been there before but it was a great experience. The staff is nice. Restaurant is clean and neat. I’ll be back. Only issue is the parking. But I realize that doesn’t fall on the restaurant. The parking lot is across from the tar pits park just in case.

Great place to get a Burger and shake, but you're going to have to bring your own straws, the paper straws they have are simply inadequate for the job.

Decent lunch/early dinner spot with good staff and servers. Nice option in an area without many eatery choices.

Nice atmoshpere, but that was all. Ordered the special Tri-Tip Sandwich and it was terrible. The meat seemed to have been soaked in water for an extended period of time so it was like mush. I should have sent it back, but the waitress was nowhere to be found. I had always walked passed The Counter on the way to the La Brea Tar Pits and thought I would try it. What a mistake, never again.

If you are looking for the customized burger, this is it!! They have all kinds of different burgers and types ! It’s huge and delicious!
