We went for lunch after a family event for a mini celebration. The manager or owner ( I presume) asked us if we were celebrating something and then sent over two out of this world desserts on the house. The fish and chips is not only delicious but the presentation is spectacular. The lemon meringue pie is so good that my family fought over the two I brought home. I’d post a picture but it would be an empty tin. The space is limited but worth the squeeze for the food. There is outdoor seating for warmer days.
Love the food and love the service!!!
Stopped by here to have lunch at around 2pm, but since they close at 3pm, they had already run out of some great dishes (which narrowed our options considerably, because we’re vegetarian). We ended up getting two cold salads and some fries. The food was delicious! (The sweet potato salad was the best!) The place was crowded but during a slightly quieter time, one might be able to enjoy the ambience better. I’d suggest getting here early (looks like it’s primarily a breakfast spot), especially on weekends.
Bustling little shop with a veritable mountain of treats from all over the British isles. I enjoyed some lox, a crumpet with treacle butter (bite of the day for sure), an iced London fog and I took a cheddar and onion biscuit home with me. Can't wait to go back, it was spectacular.
I was in in the wrong place! ...but, it musta been been the wrong time... *; /
It was way too crowded to go into eat, so we had to eat outside. I
