Gourmet cookies shouldn't taste this bad. When you're paying $5.00 a cookie or $3.00 each if you buy 7... you shouldn't be this disappointed. Unfortunately these cookies have very little flavour to match the cookie name. These cookies are so doughy it's like you are eating raw cookie dough. We bought the 7 cookies...of all different flavors & we all tried them and agreed.... We won't be back. If they spent half the amount of effort on the cookie flavours as they did the box...they may have a decent product. Unfortunately I cannot recommend Cookie Plug! Cool box tho!
Had a really great experience today at cookie plug. I got 12 cookies for really good price because of the military discount. Love it there
Not a fan cookies are like raw in the middle all the flavors taste the same and TOO sweet just my opinion
They were almost perfect but not quite there...but pretty damn close. I felt the cookies were just a bit under cooked for my taste. That being said, I know some people prefer their cookies to be that way so it's not a bad thing, it's just a preference. The soft texture makes it easy to chew but still holds together nicely without leaving familiar crumbs all over the place. ;) I didn't think these cookies were insanely sweet, if that makes sense. Each cookie is $5. We got a 4 pack for $20 and even got a free cookie for signing up for the rewards program. Customer Service here was great! The staff member recommended the Crunch Nugget (Chocolate Peanut butter) so we ended up getting that flavor for our free cookie, and to be honest I think that was my favorite of all the flavors we tried. Ironically the shop looks very clean with a graffiti decor. Overall my visit here was very pleasant and I'll definitely be back to try all the other flavors.
The cookies tasted great, especially after throwing them in the microwave for a few seconds! However, at $5 each, not worth the price. The cookies looked/felt like a hockey puck, which gave them a not-so-fresh texture and appearance. While eating them, they were only lightly baked; most of the cookie was raw/underbaked cookie dough. They're definitely a unique shape for cookies, but overall not something I can recommend.
My brother and I order 20 cookies @$60!! I felt it was grossly overpriced but I’ve heard good things so we went halves on it. Excited to try them we drove to the Aliante location to pick them up. We were greeted by a sweet, young woman who appeared to be all by herself. She told us they they were out of cookies and she couldn’t fulfill our order. She asked if we wanted an alternative option (the smaller cookies) which we politely declined at which time she had to call her manager to see what she was suppose to do. While on the phone with a manage 2 other customers came in with the same issue and a few more tickets popped up for cookies. She seemed flustered and had no idea what to do. She asked if we wanted to drive to the Henderson location for our order or if we wanted to come back in two hours. Neither option worked for us so I requested a refund. She told us she wasn’t sure if/how to do that and got back on the phone with her manager. It is really sad that— A. It’s called the cookie plug and they had no cookies, B. This girl was young and obviously new and left BY HERSELF with out the proper training and C. There was ZERO management to help with the issue that was not under control at all seeing that orders continued to come in . We have to do better. I hope that we get to try the cookies here soon but so far this place was very disappointing and quite sad. I felt awful for the poor girl.
