The Common is one of the best brunch places in Bayridge. Ive tried all kinds of brunch dishes here and loved all of them. I always come back to the crispy potato tart. It was little too crispy today but was so good. It was cooked so well that it wasn’t burnt and it held up extremely well with the egg, sour cream, and lox topped with green onions. I emptied the entire plate and drink my wide mug of cappuccino. I was in food heaven. My wife got her Eggs Benedict and i tried each bite of her plate and that was also fantastic. The potatoes were well seasoned and had a nice bite to it. Honestly you cannot go wrong here. I recommend getting there early because the place is unfortunately small and you can be waiting to be seated

Ventured into the breakfast restaurant craving a homey vibe, and I found just that. The limited seats made it feel like a personal dining experience, and the kitchen's hustle and bustle added to the charm. Locally sourced ingredients from nearby purveyors and bakers made the dishes fresh and flavorful. The carefully selected coffee beans from local roasters were a highlight, elevating the overall breakfast experience. A hidden gem that captures the essence of a comforting morning.

I ask for eggs Benedict and they were delicious. Service was good too.

Sparkling Pear Punch is outstanding. Great food, comes out quickly, staff are all friendly.

Just enjoyed a wonderful piping hot breakfast on a freezing New York day. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and placed my order. The woman at the counter was super friendly and made me feel welcome. I got the grits and sausage plate to go. When I got to my destination, about 10 minutes later, the food was still nice and hot. The creamy grits with cheese went perfect with the sunny side up eggs and the smokey flavor of the sausage. The spinach was a nice touch, and the tomatoes were interesting. They added a juicy sweetness but I could have done without them. Hands down will return here for the grits and to check out the eggs Benedict. Thanks for a great start to my day! Parking: Metered parking in area, just tight.

Absolutely amazing food, this was my first time here but not the last, I highly recommended. Great service, food came out quickly and I wanted more. The smoothie was great and the pear drink was delicious.
