Not much help for someone who had never visited before.

Outback they have a food truck. You order on the deck with the hostess and they have a nice pavilion with picnic tables over the marsh. Great food and love the laid back atmosphere! Music was great too! The boils are so good! Potato’s could have been more seasoned, sausage was delicious, fries were crispy, and crabs were meaty! Shrimp Po Boy sandwich was outstanding! Kid friendly. Would definitely go back! Kid-friendliness: They have a boat helm for the kids to play with. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp

My wife and I have another wonderful meal. We sat outside with our dog. I had fried clam appetizer and shrimp with flounder for the main course. The food was fresh but you need to be careful because the salt is becoming a little heavy handed. Sadly, my previous review is no longer appropriate. We stopped there today on the way home from the beach. We were seated outside with menus. The menus were falling apart and dirty. Reviewing the menu choices, the only fish options were mahi and golden tile. My wife is allergic to Shellfish, but up until now she has always found a decent alternative. Neither one of us like mahi or the mercury content in tile. My wife was going to settle on a smoked chicken sandwich and I was going to have fried shrimp. 20 minutes no one even stopped to give us a glass of water. We were passed by serving staff at least three times, they did pet our dog. After 20 minutes since nobody was paying attention to us we left. And I don’t expect to go back again. This is particularly disappointing since this used to be one of our favorite places.

We opted for the observation deck which is a completely different experience from the regular restaurant. The views are great overlooking the intercostal, the clam farm and what I think is a mangrove nursery. You order at the booth on the boardwalk and they bring you your food. Same great menu but more of a take out experience. I had the shrimp and grits and my wife had the low country boil. Their hkmemade Datil sausage is amazing but pretty spicy. We would both orse the same thing and look forward to coming back!

The clam chowder is AWESOME! It's a pretty expensive place but it's not more so than other seafood places in the area. We can only afford it once in a long while but it's good every time we have gone.
