The Clover Irish Pub

Dissapointing experience, slow service and mixed quality of food. We sat at the community table. The server took orders from the two couples that arrived just before us, but ignored us. Came back about 8 minutes later. Go figure. I ordered fish and chips and my wife the Cobb salad. Her salad was ok, my fish was undercooked with half of the batter being raw. I don't have high expectations for airport restaurants, i.e. feed me edible food with prompt service. This pub underdelivered. If ever back at Miami Airport, will avoid.

The food was ok and the waitress did a good job. However, the bill includes an 18% gratuity and is presented in such a way that if you are not careful, you you tip the server twice. It appears to be a very intentional way the Irish pub takes advantage of customers.

Was delayed and very hungry with my traveling partner so stopped in since there are limited sit down options in this section of the airport. Saw a guy get a burger which seemed like it looked good so I ordered on. Partner wanted fries as well but noticed they don’t come with the chicken sandwich options so I told her we’d probably have enough to split with the burger. Boy was I wrong. Both the chicken sandwich and burger came out absolutely torched dry. Basically the food equivalent of eating cardboard. Not wanting to get into sending things back and forth we just ate what we could. The fries with the burger came in what looked like a large metal cup and we were like.. “ great more than enough of those” except that the wax paper inside the cup was the only filled to roughly the same amount as a small McDonalds fry. Kind of wonky for a $17 burger, the kicker was the chicken sandwich came out in this enormous basket with only a pickle to accompany its arid chicken companion. It looked quite sad and considering what they are charging for these at the airport I hope the Accountant who mentioned they could save $.09 a serving by eliminating fried falls down a flight of stairs. A note weary travelers.. they tack on 18% gratuity to your bill already so please realize that and not over tip on such stunningly mediocre foods (even by Airport standards).

Very good breakfast omelette. Typical airport food. The music playlist was really fun as well.

A little loud but good. Until the check came! Suggested tip included in price. I commented about it to the waitress and she said can't you read! Well that just pissed me off! Give me the bill plus tax, I'll figure out the tip! Don't shame your customers to add or subtract tip amount! Or make them do math!

Food is great, seats are comfortable, and it's a great place to get a drink or food while waiting for your plane. I go every time I am in Miami.

Irish themed bar in the Airport. Really surprisingly good spot. Loved the decor nice bar barstools and lighting. Food prices good for an airport and servers were very attentive and friendly. Smithwicks on tap along with some local beers and Guinness of course. Also had Boddingtons pub ale in cans. It is hard to spot at the midpoint of concourse D and seating is limited. If you have a ton of bulky luggage this is not a good choice. Otherwise this was our favorite airport stop out of all the airports on this trip.
