We went to St. Patrick's Day, Sunday, March 17, 2024. It was a fabulous meal. I have cooked my corn beef myself for years and eaten out a few times but none of us have had it this good at a restaurant. I have only gone to the Clambake for the fish knew that it would be a great meal, but didn't know it would be a fabulous meal the St. Patrick's Day Ruth Ahearn
Great Service. Lousy burger if you can call it that. Overpriced and it tasted synthetic like a patty from a box at Walmart.
The chowder is “odd”. It was not creamy, it had very strange texture. The steamed clams had been sitting around a while, completely dried out although the bread that was served with it was really good. The baked haddock was barely six ounces and tasteless. Go somewhere else.
Parking: Part of shopping center so big parking lot.
I was looking forward to going back to The Clam Bake after moving back North 4 years ago. I started with a bowl of clam chowder and the romance was over. The broth was thick and creamy but the search for clam pieces was a waste of time. Hardly any potato chunks and no clams. I mentioned it to the bartender 03/13/24 1 pm. My comment about clamless chowder was acknowledged and that was that. She didn't care and now I'll look for someplace else to satisfy my New England seafood cravings. I guess Ian blew caring and quality away as well. Farewell Clam Bake.
Usually crowded tho...don't know if you can call in advace!??
Great New England food. Mrs had Fried clams, clam chowdda, and we both had chorurico and quahog stuffy. I got a Haddock sandwich and fries. New England memorabilia and photos on walls. Good service.
