The Breakers is the epitome of “unreasonable hospitality”, but the brunch really misses the mark. The brunch at The Circle is famed, but the experience does not live up to the hype. Limited drink options (Bloody Mary, Mimosa, etc.) that are very watered down, warm oysters, and the list goes on. While the buffet is expansive, it’s expansive averageness, which doesn’t align to the Breakers vibe. At $500 for a couple, which we were expecting + happy to pay, we left VERY underwhelmed given all the other tasty options on PBI. Enjoy the Breakers, but skip the brunch.

The Breakers is a renown hotel dating from the Gilded Age and one of the first luxury resorts in Florida…with the later addition of The Circle restaurant being one of the more famous dining experiences. In the area, we decided to give it a go for breakfast, just for the experience alone. This is a very posh locale with prices to match so be prepared. The hotel, and the room itself, are truly beautiful and worth a visit, with the menu offering all the classics you’d expect. While there are a number of a la carte items the goal is to get you to select the buffet. After much debate we elected to jointly try the buffet, each opting for their own unique choices. Our potpourri of items included a chia pudding, mixed berries, a sausage and biscuit with gravy, a very large veggie omelet, an assortment of pastries, smoked salmon with cream cheese, and scrambled eggs with bacon. Everything was good but in keeping with a buffet, so it was pre-made (other than the omelet which then did to my specifications). In addition, I ordered a hot chocolate (which was very good) and a coffee (which was ok; a bit on the bitter side). Service was very good with a charming waiter who took good care of us. If you are in the area and don’t mind spending a few extra bucks for the experience, then give The Breakers a try. Enjoy!

I would like to know how did the seafood Sunday brunch go from $185pp to $735 per couple!?! We went to the New Year’s Day brunch and it was the same thing as the Sunday seafood brunch but for almost twice the money and nothing extra. Very disappointing!!

The Circle is my family's go-to spot for special occasions. Between the exquisite cuisine, the stunning ocean views, and the impeccable service, it always delivers an unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommended.

Great food, great service, at a matching price. Took my in-laws here for their 32th anniversary and they absolutely loved it.

This was my 1st time going to the Circle Brunch at the Breakers at Palm Beach. Obviously, it is a nice hotel, the area where they set up the brunch is very elegant although where the food was placed was a little dark. There wasnt a huge selection of foods but whatever was there it was sufficient. One thing i liked was, there were servers behind each station, asking people what & how many they want. That was a great idea bcuz it will not only prevent food waste also everybodys hands will not be in it. I only had sushi which was OK, i had caviar which was fine then i went to the seafood station which was very good. They had roast beef & lamb chops too but i didnt try any of those. Then I tried a few mini deserts too, tiramisu, panacotta, keylime pie and a cpl of truffles. I was only able to eat the 2 truffles. I tasted all the other deserts but left them bcuz they were not good enough to consume the calories. We were 3 people our bill was $750 which included the 20% tip which was good so we didnt have to leave any more tip. It was a 2 and a half hour experience but im not sure if i would repeat it. Try it if u have never been there & make up your own mind if it is worth your while to go 2nd time.
