The Cibo Midtown

I ordered the Korean BBQ bowl and the bowl was flavorless. The rice was undercooked, the beef had no flavor, and the vegetables were of a hard consistency. I felt that I was not feasting on food, but rather on disappointment.

Went hear with a couple people and between all of us 3/5 of our food was either incorrect, bland, or raw. The food wasn't the best except for a burger and another item I don't remember. The food looked promising but ended up being very disappointing. Bottom line, if it looks like a deli and serves Asian food, get deli food, don't risk it.

The Cibo is a place built on variety. You can stop by for smoothies, sandwiches, vegan cookies, juices... They have a lot of offer. I came for the smaller side of the menu, namely the noodles. The restaurant goes deep into the building but is not too narrow. The front portion is where there is seating, as well as self-service sauces on the tables. Towards the back are all the drinks and the ordering counter with ingredient bar. You order at the bar and then pay and wait to pick up. The service is quick but friendly. There weren't too many people there when I went. They started making the order after I placed it and I waited for less than 10 minutes to get my chicken udon. Unlike the paper cup I was expecting, my order came in a plastic container. The noodles were nice and not too chewy. The chicken was flavored well despite being breast meat. The soup was strangely sweet and had nice bites of onion, mushroom, spinach, and carrots. For the price, it was a nice and filling meal even when I couldn't finish that soup.

By far the worst EVER ! The “manager or boss” is always lost. Doesn’t know how to take orders. & ALWAYS misses the most important part. Sometimes I would call for delivery and then call again for the status of my order and he would always say “omg we forgot to put the order in” UNPROFESSIONAL UNACCEPTABLE
