The Chopped Leaf

I think I got food poisoning from this place. Had a Bangkok wrap and ended up being sick from it.

Ordered 2 salads with grilled chicken. The chicken was cold as if it was previously grilled and just thrown in the salad out of a fridge. Compared to the Gateway location where I frequent - I always see them grill the chicken and actually have it come out warm and grilled. I would avoid this location and probably head to the gateway location. Previous reviews say this location has changed ownership numerous times so maybe there are some franchisee problems. Short Cuts get you 1 star reviews and one time customers. 1/5 Do not recommend -

Refreshing to have a clean place with good staff and decent quality food. Rare occurrence in Edmonton these days. Keep it up and I will keep coming and tell others.

This used to be the only location in Edmonton that had appropriate portions for the amount of money they're charging you but as of today when I went in the little Asian guy there who refused to give me his name so I could talk to the very nice owner about how small he was making the wraps there and I've talked to her personally and she says she does not approve of other locations serving such small meals. The young Asian male skinny short tiny with acne problem should not be serving people considering I've encountered him at other locations giving small portions and exclaiming that's what the owner states they're supposed to serve when I specifically have talked to this owner and she has said otherwise. I don't know what happened to the nice Asian couple last summer or the nice East Indian lady who took over after them but this new guy is terrible and you gotta get him out of there. I literally refused to pay for the order and laugh in the guy's face and he looked at me blank and asked me what I'd like him to do when clearly give the appropriate portions is what the complaint was.

Sorry I had to update my review on this account. I've literally had conversations with a nice owner about other locations small portions and what not and she said that she would never do that at her location and she is hired an employee who makes smaller than child sized snack wraps as regular wraps and that guy should be fired she really doesn't need that guy there. Again just like my other count had stated he's a little short skinny Asian guy with an active problem who refuses to give me his name so I could tell the owner exactly which employee is a problem of hers. I had to update with this account considering this is the account that I do all my reviews on not the other one. The owner is such a nice lady and gives me quality service and food every time I see her she does not deserve to have this employee taken away from her company Name and credibility to this location.

This is honestly a very relaxing, clean restaurant with great people running it. Food is healthy and Delicious. No detail missed in running a good restaurant.

This is one of my favourite places to have lunch. The food is consistently excellent and the staff is so friendly. I really enjoy when they share their recommendations or new menu items because you can tell that they understand the flavours and ask the right questions to get an idea of my taste and what I would enjoy. I find it hard to decide what I want because I love so many things on the menu. The Goddess Dressing is to DIE for!

This location is amazing!! Food is always superb, super fresh and delicious! Staff are very friendly and they remember my favs and my name! Highly recommend!!!! Thanks ladies!!
