My friend was asked to leave after the food was served. Here's why? Last week, my friends and I, who are all local business owners in Ventura County and frequent patrons of this location, had a disheartening experience. My friend, who faces mental health challenges and relies on a therapy dog that is blind and unable to walk, was asked by the manager, (Jess), to leave right after our meal was served, citing a health code violation. This claim contradicts ADA and Department of Public Health guidelines, which recognize the legitimacy of such support animals that have health conditions. The situation could have been handled with more understanding and sensitivity. At the very least, a friendly reminder for future visits, offering an alternative seating area like the patio, or acknowledging and compensating for the discomfort caused to my friend would have been appropriate measures. Moreover, this incident highlights a broader issue of inclusivity and compassion at Cheesecake Factory, especially towards members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals with disabilities, and pet owners. It's imperative that your establishment reevaluates its policies and staff training to ensure all customers feel welcome and respected. Cheesecake Factory needs to do better in fostering an environment of empathy and accommodation for everyone. Don't be performative. You can be better allies to our community.
I, was there on April/4/2024 having dinner with our club... After each meeting with go their for nice dinner to fellowship with each other this has been going on for years... that night there was 7 of us, we order and got served... Women Manger came to our table and ask one member that needs a service pets, to leve he could have in the restaurant...The way this Women Manger handle this was unbelievable and unprofessional... like ,I said we been meeting here for years... So be aware if you have a Service pet Cheesecake factory does not allow your pets... Lastly In what I notice was they cut back on there food on what I normally order was much less maybe because of this New Women Manger there

The food is so expensive and not that great! The new fried zucchini is great. They are accommodating for large parties which is good.
