The Chap

My first time to this wonderful spot - their ambiance is much better than the Pizza spot that they replaced - the cocktails are strong and well priced and the staff are great at taking care of a high volume experience - also, strange compliment - these Christmas decorations are absolutely the best we have seen going out in our HollyHood and appreciate the amount of red used in these solid arrangements - so great!

The Chap has really done the "British Pub" thing right. And I should know. I'm British. And we love our pubs... The venue looks, feels and sounds right. The staff are kind and attentive and the food, in this case a veggie Sunday roast, was excellent. Yorkshire puddings were spot on, as was the gravy, and the "proper" roast potatoes we just that. Go grab a bite and a cheeky pint.

If you haven't visited The Chap, you should. I missed the kitchen being open so I cannot comment on the food. Chelsea the bartender was amazing. Expresso Martinis were the drink of choice and I could have experience better service. This is an hidden gem in the Hollywood area. Please come check it out.

Classic British pup fare in an laid back, but classy atmosphere! The menu is pretty limited, but what they offer is done pretty well. The Bangers and Mash was yummy with two sausage, peas, and mashed potatoes. The Caesar Salad was a bit harder to eat since it had the full lettuce leaf. Pretty pricy too for a salad as it cost as much as my entree. My favorite was the Sticky Toffee Pudding! Definitely don't skip this!

Great food and drinks and lovely atmosphere and service. A bit pricey though - dinner for two with four drinks and all the charges /tips ~ $150.
