The Chandler Steakhouse

Had early valentines dinner Friday night and ordered the New Zealand lamb chops. Unfortunately I good food poisoning and got so sick throwing up since Friday. Very upset

I was a walk in with a friend on a busy evening after playing some blackjack, we were told only service would be in the bar area. We were fine with it and got amazing Prime Rib!!!! We did have to wait a little bit for drinks and service, but all in all was a good experience!! I feel bad for the entitled people here who complain about pricing..most probably cant read or write so it was probably a shock to them when the bill came. Luckily myself and Im sure most dont care if you ever come back!! more tables open to easy going people who enjoy a nice meal once in a while!

They are very prejudice here, I reserved a both for a birthday celebrations arrived 15 mins prior to my reservation and was told they seat at time reserved. At 8:15 when I returned I was told no both is available I have to seat at a table facing the kitchen. The waiter refused to serve us as we were black and constantly questioned our selections. I would never recommend or eat here again. Very overpriced for food that has no flavor!!!!!

Went last night for a 50th birthday I got a margarita in a very small glass went to pick it up and it tipped over oops I have a plate in my arm manager in his suit came over threw a napkin down and said your shut off and don't ask for another drink WOW JUST WOW the waitress was amazing but whoever the manager in his la te da suit was a jerk

Worst experience at a restaurant ever. I’ve had better quality food and service at McDonald’s. Our waitress was amazing though, super sweet, and she honestly deserves a raise. Everything was cold and gross, except our desert. It being a holiday is not an excuse to wait an hour for 2 drinks and almost 2 hours for our food, especially with how expensive it is. It took almost a half hour just to get some water and our order taken. I see all these comments complaining about how it took 10 minutes to get drinks and I’m over here like “I wish I only waited 10 minutes!” Also, we were there before this other couple, yet they seated us at this table with horrible stools that we kept sliding off of and then they seated the couple after us at a booth. We had to ask our waitress to move us because of how bad those stools were. If you ever go there and they ask you if sitting in the lounge is okay with a high top table and stools, tell them no and you’d rather a booth. But I personally just wouldn’t go there anyway ‍♀️ Editing my review from the next day. I have been up all night long because of how sick I am from their food. I only had 2 alcoholic beverages so I know it’s not from drinking too much. I feel horrible that my boyfriend took me out for my birthday and spent over $200 on such poor quality food. I also wanted to add, please don’t take this kind of stuff out on your waiters or waitresses. They aren’t the ones handling the food or drinks and it’s not their fault. As bad as everything was, we still tipped our waitress good and could tell she was really stressed out. Anyway, if you made it this far, just avoid this place lol go to Theodore’s downtown Springfield or Dewey’s Lounge. Nothing fancy, but the quality is amazing!

Baked pataoe was over cooked skin very hard. Samon burned on edges crispy onions wete not crispy just fried horseradish sauce to mild

Watch out for the “big rock” fee. I ordered a scotch with a big rock and they charged me $4 extra for the big ice cube. A new low in restaurant up-charging. Food was great. Low stars is for the stupidity of fleecing customers for an ice cube.

The place is exactly what a Steakhouse should look like, the bartender was a lovely gentleman and the food was incredible. I don’t know who these people are saying the food was ‘sub-par’….guess they don’t know good food. We make sure we eat here, at the homemade Italian pasta spot and the gelato spot. Delish, every single time!!

The food is not bad but not of the standard the price or expectations demand. To be served their most expensive steaks with NO accompanying garnishing unless you pay for expensive side dishes is not good. All in all a disappointing meal.

Steak Frites were to die for and the aioli sauce was phenomenal. The wine list was extensive and recommendations from the server, Jenna, were spot on. 10/10 recommend. We were able to walk in at 5pm on a Saturday and get a table. Comfy seating, friendly staff, and phenomenal food.
