The Cedar Glen Inn

I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s in the top 5 best breakfasts I’ve ever had. The atmosphere and people were grade A. If you ever come in Caroline was an absolute amazing server and was very attentive. I highly highly recommend the next time you are near by or passing through!

Just plain good food! Locals love their breakfasts and lunches. They offer especially good specials for breakfast. Limited parking, but worth the effort. I love that they will cook the bacon the way I want it, soft! Unfortunately they are going to discontinue serving dinners at end of August They added a Monte Cristo sandwich to their menu. It's well worth the try! Yummy

I come up to our 2nd home up here most often by myself and I come to Cedar Glen Inn for more than the food. It is homey, comfortable, and I am at ease dining by myself. The food is not exactly "clean eating" and by that I mean that you will see the yummy traditional foods like curly fries and burgers, tuna melts, etc. I like to take home a container of soup for the next day, and tonight it is chicken tortilla. Yes, a bit high in sodium but is homemade and tasty. This place is a home away from home for me. Love the staff love the atmosphere.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT, THIS ONE IS FOR THE WAITRESS, I HAVE WORKED IN SALES THE MAJORITY OF MY LIFE AND I HAVE NEVER HAD TREATED A PERSON DIFFERENT BECAUSE OF NATIONALITY OR SKIN COLOR. IN BUSINESS I HAVE ALWAYS PICTURED PEOPLE AS A WALKING DOLLAR, A U.S DOLLAR IS A U.S DOLLAR, AND WHEN YOU ARE AT WORK AND CUSTOMER ARE ENTERING IN TO THE ESTABLISHMENT, AND THE FIRST THOUGHT THAT CROSSES YOUR MIND IS, OMG LOOK AT THIS FOREIGNERS COMING IN, " BELIEVE ME THAT WHEN I SAY THAT THE NATIVE AMERICANS DO THINK OF YOU AS ILLEGALS ", THE FOOD WAS GOOD BUT THE SERVICE WAS EXTREMELY LACKING
