The Cavalier

Our big anniversary dinner was a huge letdown. Despite saving up for this special occasion and hearing rave reviews from friends, our experience fell far short of expectations. The service wasy poor, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. It was curt and lacked any warmth or hospitality. Some of the menu items were unfamiliar to us, and instead of assistance, we felt judged for not being more knowledgeable about the cuisine. Overall, the evening felt awkward and unwelcoming. It's a shame that what was supposed to be a memorable night turned into a regrettable experience.. pretty sad!

The atmosphere is very good here and the service staff are friendly and professional. Cocktails were great and the wine was ok. The food however is a crime against humanity. The chef if he can be called that should consider a different career. Not only was it bland and tasteless but fundamentally not what was listed on the menu. Any restaurant that claims to have an English pub heritage and serves French fries when the menu says chips and serves a salad instead of the peas that were on the menu should have their pub privileges revoked. My recommendation is to come for a drink but avoid dinner here at all costs.

Terrific food, but table service in the bar area was terrible. They also made a massive mistake with the check (not in my favor). They said they would remove the item they’d messed up from the check, and did not. The service soured the experience.

While Ocean's Catch is not the most budget-friendly option, the quality of the food justifies the prices. The portion sizes are generous, and the attention to detail in preparation and presentation is evident. It's a worthwhile investment for a special occasion or a treat-yourself night out.

Good was ok nothing exceptional. Service was great! Friendly and attentive. Atmosphere can be a bit fun as a British pub. All in all for location and under $40 mains it's pretty good.
