Delicious pulled pork sandwich and the tomato cream was to die for. Great customer service, the server was super nice. We became friends! It can get busy, since is a small restaurant but its worth the wait.
Loved it here! Went for their specialty, the (veggie) meat loaf sandwich w a kale side salat. It was amazing, just as I love my hearty breakfast. My wife also was very happy w her grilled cheese. We can definitely recommend
One of my favorite spots in New York! It’s pretty difficult for me to be sold on places because a lot of places lack what this one business does not, and that’s consistency! I’ve been eating from here for over two years, both dine-in and takeout, and I have not had one item from the menu that has disappointed! Not one! Do you know how difficult that is?! Lol (my current favorite chicken schnitzel plate with the mashed potatoes and kale salad, and of course a cookie for dessert). I love how anytime you dine in, all the employees are super welcoming, and I feel like I’m in one of my Tia’s cribs about to enjoy a great meal! Keep up the great work, everyone; you guys are a great representation of the real Brooklyn!
As a Brooklyn Native , I was not to impressed. Gentrification is so boldly not respecting the true value in maintaining the integrity of the hispanic culture of the community it supposedly servicing. Outside of the Brooklyn print graffiti on its wall, the place is other than that!!!! No thank you gentrification… it would be nice to see some form of art that represents the community it so call serves. However, there is a nice print of a tree that represents the name of the establishment. The place is super tiny, making it difficult to order or even to take a look at the full menu as the patrons are standing over each other to order and hawk watching for a seat is the sport in this establishment. After 40 plus minutes of waiting our food arrived. I ordered the full breakfast, in which my home fries were cold . The chicken schnitzel and waffles and the grill cheese with tomato bisque were a hit and in this aspect I was pleasantly surprised. Being that the establishment is super tiny, politely placing a seating time limit would be beneficial. Many people walked in and turned right around to avoid the wait time. There was also a table of four whom finished their meal, yet sat with no regard of the other customers patiently waiting. This new wave of disrespect moving into the neighborhood is questionable. Smh
Love this place. Very pleasant staff and excellent food. Highly recommended as a to-go staple.
I had coffee and pancakes, they where delicious and the price was good Loved the vibe
