Loved the stuffed French toast with berry compote, friendly workers. Liked sitting outside but termites swarmed out of the wood post near table so kind of ruined our experience. If they could treat the wood posts our next visit might be different outside. However very cute place & very busy on weekend mornings. Our food was very good and different. Thank you for having outside seating.
Everything we had was just ok - serving sizes are not up to par with other places at all. French toast made with regular store bought bread. Waffles look like small eggo and dry. Potatoes were over cooked. Worst of all was definitely the lack of attentive service - two services for the whole place on a Saturday is terrible everyone is not happy with that. Minimally staffing makes more tips for each server but is not well serving each table and leaving with a good experience. Would not return
Love the food and great waitstaff
Pretty disappointed in the staff here. One of the guys kept going to the door to smoke his vape and the others just seemed unhappy! The guy was also very rude to a customer just trying to ask the wait time. The food was good, not great.
Best tasting Monte Cristo I have had in a long while...... Amazing atmosphere the Artistry and Imagination is really cool...... every table is a different color with matching chairs and centerpieces Went with a friend and we were thoroughly satisfied and happy when we left great service wonderful atmosphere highly recommended A+
Nice shaded outdoor seating, good service and food is amazing! Highly recommend the sausage biscuits and gravy!
The café is really hyping up their pancake reputation, but the reality falls short. The food is standard, the coffee is weak, and the pancakes arrived with half missing. Even the "house specially" grits, served with only four shrimp on a flat plate, seem lackluster (perhaps even made from instant mix with cheese sprinkled on top). You simply need to look to the filty floorboards to best encapsulate this experience. Honestly, a nearby spot serves mango butter pancakes that put this place to shame. Still, I wish them all the best.
Breakfast in a little cottage ( crowded inside). The coffee was great and the food tasty( ham delicious). The bill for 2 was $31.20 without tip. Server was rushed, no greeting, no eye contact and plates/food rather slung upon table. Might return if in area, again.
I went on Valentine's Day with 4 other friends for lunch. They were crowded but the service was good. We had pancakes and an egg omelette breakfast. The food came out hot and fresh. The atmosphere was perfect. We totally enjoyed ourselves talking & enjoying the time together. The owner of the establishment came over and spoke with us. She was sweet & enjoyable to talk to. This is a perfect place to take a first date for a romantic breakfast brunch for a luncheon. It's a great Sarasota secret bound to be a hit once the word is out. Try it, you won't regret it!!!
