The Bonanza Saloon & Cafe

I give this place a single star, due to the fact that google hasn’t been updated. They have been closed for a while now talking to locals. Which is upsetting because they were such an amazing place to grab breakfast. They had the best food, my wife and I specifically stayed in Virginia City for their breakfast for every morning. They need to update their google page and website, because as of how we see it it’s supposed to be open .

We only had a beer and a really mean Bloody Mary here, but we sat and enjoyed our drinks while great country hall dance music played and people of all ages wandered in. The authenticity of the Saloon is charming, and we loved the view to the east from the back! Kid-friendliness: Our toddler was both welcome and had a great time with the music.

Food was OK. The service was very slooow. Kitchens fault, not our waitress. 9 of us meals came in waves not together. Last meal was 15 minutes late.

Very inconsistent sometimes open and other times not The only thing that this place has going for it is The View It's a real shame that someone else doesn't get in there and run it like it should be run!!
