We came here yesterday after landing in Portland, wanting a cozy warm soup. The vibe was great, there is free parking in a small lot next to the building, and the atmosphere was very chill. Coming from Arizona, good pho places are a few and far between. This broth in their house pho was amazing. I did add the recommended chili paste and the jalapeños for some spice, but overall the broth was perfect and I didn’t feel like it was missing any component of a great pho! I also tried the strawberry Boba that comes blended and it was good too. The brown sugar boba at the bottom was perfectly chewy and for the price it was actually quite a large cup of it.
Recently discovered this place. Definitely become one of my favorite places. Will definitely come back! I love the build your own rolls.
Good food. Parking: Street parking around, free on Sundays.
Pho was on point during this freezing weather. We got P1 beef pho and B1 grilled pork vermicelli. These two were great combinations. There is nothing extraordinary about this place, just simply good pho and vermicelli you'd expect at a decent Vietnamese restaurant. Free parking lot for customers.
Great pho! I loved their dumpling soup too. Great for a winter's day. Bouncy music inside too, not the traditional thai music (often overdone).
The pho was great. The environment was clean. It is a wheelchair accessible restaurant. There is a lot of sause that should have been available on the dining table but there was none. Some of those sause are the soy sause, chili oil sause, and fish sause (from the bottle). The parking lot was free. They have a bar table. The pho price range in between $15-17. What makes this restaurant different from the rest is that you can actually customize and choose your own meat. Kid-friendliness: It is a kids friendly environment.
The only complaint I have about this place is that it isn't closer to me (I'm in Vancouver so the drive isn't too bad haha) First - they have free parking right next to the restaurant. How often do you hear that Portland offers free parking? Service was great. She saw that my fiancee was parking our car and that I was about to pay for the metered parking and she stopped me and said to go park in the garage. She was also patient as I was being indecisive on what to order and checked in on us frequently. I wish I got her name to give her a shout out but her customer service was on point. Ordered egg rolls, fried shrimp, and the thit nuong self roll platter. I am Vietnamese and born and raise in San Jose, California. So I grew up eating authentic home cooked Vietnamese foods and surrounded by authentic viet restaurants. And this place definitely is one of my favorite and authentic viet food within the area, which is hard to find. Highly recommend and would come back.
This spot has definitely become a favorite of mine — the only place where I actually like the taste of pho. The drunken noodles are 10/10 *chef’s kiss*
