The Boathouse

So the only thing I’m reviewing here is the service at the bar. We live in Orlando and come to Disney Springs very often. We sat at the bar here and ordered some appetizers and drinks. We ordered an espresso martini and a margarita and I asked for salt on the rim. Jamie made the espresso martini and forgot to put vodka in it. So instead of remaking the drink or at least shaking all of the ingredients together all she did was she added it on top of the drink in the glass. And she dropped off my margarita without salt and then said did you ask for salt? And I said yes please, so she took the drink, poured it into another glass that had a salt rim on it already just sitting there. And then she said oh it’s my Friday and I’m just done. So I understand if you’re tired, worked hard, can’t wait to go home, but I worked in the industry for more then 15 years, and I have never told my customers how tired I was or I was ready to go home. You just do your best and not complain to the paying customer. You do that with your manager.

It’s a must!

We had reservations for 10 on a Friday night and they did not disappoint. Got us seated right at our reservation time even though it was crazy busy and our waiter was incredible, Ivan sets the standard for top notch service and should get a raise! He walked us through menu items, took my sister in laws allergies very seriously, and was constantly checking in with us even with a packed restaurant. My father in law, sister in law and I all got the Tuna and we are still dreaming about that meal. I will definitely be eating there again the next time I’m in Orlando, truly 10 out of 10, no complaints! Dietary restrictions: My sister in law has a shellfish allergy but loves regular fish and they took her allergy very seriously, sending the manager out throughout our meal to be sure she was doing well and there was no cross contamination. Kid-friendliness: Super helpful and accommodating to families with children.

The food is great and the service is excellent! Highly recommend.

We came to the Boathouse for an early dinner. We had a reservation. The host took us to our seat outside but another host had given our table to another group which was going to put us in the sun with our 7 month old baby. The hostess quickly found us a new table in the shade over looking the water. We enjoyed the outdoor deck. Are waitress very accommodating. The lobster bisque and crab cakes were delicious.

Went to the Boathouse for my niece’s birthday dinner. She requested to sit outside. Cool spot, some of the tables are boats. Our waiter although polite, he neglected to ask if we wanted something to drink, we had to ask for straws for the water, 4 people 3 sets of cutlery hmmmm. Super long wait for food but I get a Friday night at Disney Springs. Food was hot - DON’T get the mac & cheese. We did enjoy the amphicars go in and out of the water Overall it was ok for an 8 year old to have her birthday dinner.

I’ve eaten here so many times and have never had bad service or bad food!! The bartenders are always amazing (when I come by myself, I always sit at the bar top)!

Twlwth was, in all honesty, one of the best servers we’ve had. Beautiful energy and attentive service. Food and atmosphere was excellent.

Fantastic!!! Lobster roll , oysters and the mahi tacos were phenomenal!! Wesley our server was fantastic!! Would definitely visit again!
