It's a nice place for a lovely walk and if you like every kinds of plants, but to be honest it's should be free as botanical Garden like everyone in Uk even because It doesn't worth the price, the place it's really small compare to other botanical Gardens in Uk and it's crowded from dirty families that don't have too much respect for the nature there.

Went in April and the butterfly place is under rennovation till May. Couldnt see the peacock, no fish and the birds in the cages are no longer there. But there were some flowers to take pics of and a nice walk around.

It looks like a faded seaside hotel on the outside and doesn’t get any better. It’s dilapidated, faded and dying - just like the plants.

Paying for botanical gardens is one thing but to have so many closed and derelict areas is appalling. The former bird area could be repurposed as opposed to a dirty tip. A waste of money

Really impressed by the staff recently at Botanicals. We've been visiting for years but just noticed recently the staff have been so helpful on the main desk as we arrive. The gardens are lovely as ever and this place is a favourite with my kids.

Dnt get me wrong stunning scenery but went on eater egg trail with no prizes for kids or any kind of fun going on on such a lovely day just find quite poor not even an egg for the kids after the price you pay for entry is quite a joke never again

I went in mid March so perhaps not as good as it would have been in the summer. It was a reasonably good visit but the place did not quite live up to my expectations. All of the bird zones were empty - i understand that the birds have been rehomed to somewhere more suitable which is good news - it would be nice to see them do something with these spaces though. I can't speak for the cafe as we did not visit that area, but the gift shop was well stocked and had a good atmosphere. Overall the site was smaller than expected.

I have photographed a number of weddings, engagements and portrait sessions at Birmingham Botanical Gardens, and it's always a place I want to go back to. The grounds are stunning and if it's winter or raining, there is always a chance to get some photographs in the tropical houses. There are several banqueting halls so plenty of flexibility for different events and numbers. Just be aware that they do charge a fee for photoshoots and they have to be booked in advance. I also enjoy coming with my family on my days off! www.byGarazi.co.uk
