The Betty

Went to the jazz dinner with friends last night and it left a lot to be desired. I don't know if our waitress was new, but she messed up pretty much all courses of our order. I got the wrong wine, my friends got the wrong steaks. They brought out what was supposed to be their NY strip, and it was more of a skirt steak than strip. The temperature was not correct, one friend couldn't eat her food at all. They should just take steak off the menu all together. Bought a bottle of wine, waitress didn't know what a Cabernet was and thus couldn't inform us of the bottle price, no true bottle service (we had to pour our own glasses), etc. It was just a miss on all ends. Definitely won't be returning.

The Betty is a stylish restaurant in the Kimpton hotel. Our experience wasn’t particularly great because service was slow, some menu and bar options weren’t available, and the food overall was average. For a restaurant that wasn’t full it also was one of the noisiest restaurants I have experienced. Note that valet service is available for parking but requires payment even with restaurant validation. Parking: Valet parking is available but requires payment even with restaurant validation.

My wife and I went to dinner on a Thursday night when they have a band play jazz. The drinks, food and service were excellent.

My fiance and I went here on a Friday with high hopes of a pleasurable experience, good food and drinks. Sadly we were 0 - 3 If I could give this place a zero, I would. While we were seated right away it took 15 minutes to be acknowledged, and another 5 to 10 minutes to be asked for a drink order. After waiting several minutes for our drinks, it appeared as if the drink orders were never put in. We walked out disappointed.

Typical ATL restaurant. Overpriced, mediocre service, and dull atmosphere. Don’t get gaslighted into coming here by instagram influencers.

We went for drinks. Bar staff very nice . I asked if they can get a head on the espresso martini , I got an emphatic yes. But delivered with no head at all- that’s not an espresso martini- very disappointed

The Better is incredible. The menu is incredibly well curated, the staff is knowledgeable, the bartender makes one hell of a rusty nail, and the carrot cake changed my life. Not often do you find a restaurant that finds a way to compose a menu that lets food and flavor dance the way it’s supposed to. Try The Betty. You’ll be better for it.

Ms. D gave us stellar service last night and compliments to the chef on the whole red snapper. Thank you for consistently being a pleasure.
