The Bella Ciao

Uptown location (keep in mind parking is difficult). Walked in 4pm and was greeted by host who was friendly. Restaurant was empty, still staff was noticeably present. We waited several minutes before Server came to table. From reading reviews, this happens often. Service was mediocre. She took our order no issues but I noticed she didn’t try to upsell whatsoever, did not offer any appetizers or specials, no recommendations. We both enjoyed our pasta dishes, also noted this restaurant added Parmesan cheese in the kitchen. Most restaurants will add fresh grated Parmesan at the table, but that was not an option here since the server asked us upon taking our order. Not a bad experience but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return. Vegetarian options: several pasta dishes come without any meat/poultry/fish.

Worst service ever, waited to be seated for 10 min eventhough many servers in the restaurant, only 3 customers in restaurant, one waitress said it will be "one minute ", and walked away. Still waited more minutes, we give up and went to different restaurants Worst experience ever!

Loved this restaurant. Food was excellent and service was great even though it was crowded. Vegetarian options: Loved the Pesto! Delicious!!!

Food is not as good as it use to be. The service was amazing. But I’ll think twice about coming back

My boyfriend took me here for Valentine’s Day and this is the best food I’ve had in Charlotte. Pur waitress was named Ary and she was so sweet and efficient. Will definitely be returning

One of my favorite places dor eat real good italian food, i love the pesto pasta, the risotto scampi and the bruschetta, they also provide a good ambient and you can se how they prepare the food so is very entreteniment

Stopped in late last night. Got a pizza w/meatballs. It was delicious. Bartender was lovely & made me great drinks. Only critique is, as a NY native, if the pizza was crispy, it would be perfect! Will be back!
