The Bean

Popped in for the first time for a snack. Seems like a typical college spot. Good deals, fast turn around but the only thing hot was the tea. The soup was room temp and the “eggroll” (fried burrito?) was cold. The food is handled improperly so 2 days later I’m still unable to hold in solid food.

Large Iced Latte with Almond milk $7.57 + tip. The taste of coffee is really bad to my taste and they don’t even use barista milk, just a regular store bought milk.

Decent coffee and smoothie menu. The place is big but it does get inundated by a young demographic due to its location. Good service

Spacious and good music. I had a good smoothie for $12. Wifi wasn't really strong enough to handle the zoom I was on, and the music was too loud for my noise cancelling headphones to drown out. So maybe not the right spot for taking a call.

The cold brew is pretty good. The WiFi is terrible (2hr limit and painfully slow) and hard to connect to

It's a good corner location for Bean. It is big, plenty of seating. It's new, and it has a decent commercialized interior, not the romantic type. You can have your basic needs, seating, coffee and pastries, or simple lunch bites. The staff was friendly during my night visits. Overall I had a good experience here. Parking: Hard to find parking here

It can be cleaner to improve the experience and the food is average, though a bit overpriced. It's comfortable but depending on who is at the register, service is very 50 / 50. I had one server who was very kind and the next time, there was a different server who barely paid any attention to my questions before, during or after my purchase. I had to wave them down to get my receipt.
