The food is in good portions. I ordered ribs with sides of mashed potatoes with bacon and coleslaw. The mashed potatoes were instant, the coleslaw was dry. The ribs were tender. It could be improved. I know they're just starting. I'm sure they'll get better.
2 tvs on with irrelevant stuff+ loud country music? How about local sportsand or classic movies and no contest shows and some Americana or classic C&W music instead? There's a few other things I could mention that would've made it a really good dinner out, but they can contact me if they want.
You smell it before you see the restaurant regardless of the wind direction. The smell intensifies the closer you get. For a first experience, a few things were ordered. The Trio Tacos are incredible! A side of sliders, nachos, and a half rack of pork ribs finished the lunch menu for this family of five. The pork literally fell right off the bone. An idea of another visit is in the works due to having to try a menu item called, "secret burger." If they only had some home made sweet tea to go with it. However, there is Stone Brewery on tap. Parking: Parking all around the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp.
We dropped in one day just as they unlocked the doors @11:30am My friend ordered the wings with a side of onion rings. I ordered The Barn House Burger with fries. Everything had great flavor. We both really enjoyed our meals and washed them down with ice-cold beer. We didn't have to wait a long time for our food, and our server was really nice and checked on us a couple of times. The reason I gave the experience 4 stars is because my 1/2 lb. burger patty was cooked medium. I was never asked how I wanted it cooked. If she had asked, I would have told her well done. Next time, I'll know to speak up when I place my order. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this spot for a casual lunch. My friend and her husband returned a couple of weeks later for dinner. They ordered the BBQ Beef Ribs Plate and said they were tender and delicious.
To start off, i am not a fan of trying new places. If i like something i stay there. But i got invited by co-workers to go and try this new BBQ place. Walking inside the place we got greeted and any question we had, they answer. Staff was very friendly. We ordered the Family Combo and wings. There wings are amazing and the ribs right on point. Meat just slides off the bone. The food portion was plenty. We ordered some draft drinks, and there glass cups were ice cold. Which is a big plus for me. Overall, i was very satisfy with the experience we had, that i decided to go again a few days later. I gave it the second shot, and they impress me again. To make it short, i go there twice a week now. This has become my new to go place. And they even have pool tables, which is my favorite game. I definitely recommend this place, you wont be disappointed.
I like to support local business in my area, I do not like when a business closes, so hopefully this is read by the owners, mac n cheese needs much improvement and mashed potatoes, the ribs were ok could use improvement, sausage was really yummy! Hopefully this review helps to improve the taste of the food
This was our first visit and we enjoyed it. Unfortunately, we haven't yet to try the barbecue. So that means we'll be back to give it a try.
We ordered bacon cheese burger w fries, mashed potatoes, half chicken w/mac &cheese and onion rings. We enjoyed the food and definitely will come back. Our 2-year-old loves the half chicken and Mac &cheese, he is a picky eater so if he approves it, it’s a big deal. Kid-friendliness: Kid menus
This place is great! Natalia was super helpful and welcoming to our group of six. The macaroni and cheese with smoked pork belly was really good. The meat just fell off the bones of the ribs. It's clear that they have put a lot of effort into making good food and a great atmosphere. Definitely going back!
The meat fell off the bone. Literally can’t remember a time when I’ve had better bbq chicken. And the onion rings were good.
