The Bagel House

I think the sandwich is not bad, and at least thx god, it opens on the Good Friday

My partner and I are long time customers of bagel house. Unfortunately we had a very disappointing at this location. We got 2 bagel sandwiches and the first thing we noticed were the bagels were stale. It tasted like they were baked at least the day before. We also asked for them toasted and they were barely toasted not helping to the fact they were stale. Lastly, the lettuce on the BLT was old and wilted. Just hoping this experience was a one off.

Bagels just taste like sugar ( no wonder why people are crazy about them-it’s all a sugar rush ) and the female that was to serve us was waiting at the back counter and was not friendly at all. I was in the store only two days ago. 2 bagels were to be toasted and payed for to open it up after leaving the store and it was not toasted at all. I wouldn’t waste my time coming back. ( I have heard the cream cheese is good ) that is why I went in the first place.

So delicious - the best bagel in Toronto. Usually grab to go, not really the kind of place you sit in. Bagels are so worth it. Turkey sandwich or breakfast sandwich are my go-tos!

Sent chop liver that had gone so bad it tasted like fish. Small bagels were hard as rocks. Very disappointed with this location as I’ve been to other locations and the food was wonderful

Picked up bagels on Friday afternoon around 3 pm. Not a lot left. The bagels were fresh. The person who served was super thoughtful and added freezer bags proactively.

There were flies/bees inside and there was a weird smell. Also they microwaved the eggs for my bagel sandwich and it didn’t taste very good. The bagel itself wasn’t anything special. Won’t be coming again
