Simply the best burger and pie place ever. All their ingredients are fresh and tasty. We tried the steak burger, the hickory burger and the tuna melt. Their banana cream pie is mouthwatering. We sat inside and it was a cool experience. We didn’t have to wait a long time to sit down. They have a patio in the back with a large seating area. Very friendly staff. We love supporting local businesses that make your experience exceptional!

I go to the apple pan for one reason and only for one reason; I want an apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. With every freedom bite I take, I can feel the democracy coercing through my veins. Or it could be the sugar spike I'm experiencing. Either way, I see red, white, and blue with every scoop.

Start with the good. Lots of history and a fun place to hang out. Service was okay. One cashier was a little slow juggling the takeout orders. Grumpy guy at the back patio was awesome. The food was okay. Burger was good but not outstanding. Fries are frozen and came out cold. Apple pie was just okay. Kinda mushy and not a lot of flavour.

Food is well known to be good, even better. However, my daughter told me that they had a great tuna melt. So I went to try it. The service counter person told me, and showed me their menu…no tuna melt. She added that they have not had tuna in a long time. I see on the online menu they list a tuna sandwich. Not a tuna melt, but still a tuna sandwich. So the online menu is wrong, their store menu is wrong, or, the clerk is wrong. A failure for all involved, including my daughter! My rating is based on past experience with their hamburger, which was very good. The lady was nice, the location was clean, parking not so great…but that’s not their fault.

A classic. Just a good burger and pie.
