Excellent food, really friendly staff, Oliver was incredibly polite and helpful, including the bearded barman (whose name I don't know unfortunately!). The barman was extremely accommodating of our nervous dog, he came over with treats and water and helped us walk to a table avoiding other dogs, he even carried my drink for me! I cannot recommend enough. The food was amazing, and the nicest burger we've ever had. The pub itself looks beautifully decorated.

Easter family lunch. Food was not tops but it was wonderful to be together with family from Canada. Vegetarian options: Menu includes vegetarian options so it's fully suitable for vegetarian & non-vegetarions to dine together.

Great lunch at The Anchor today. Such a lovely, comfortable space & the food was well presented & delicious. I have been extremely disappointed there in the past, particularly as I live nearby. So glad I gave it another go now it’s under new management. I had this lovely vegetarian, gluten free curry with poppadoms. Zoe who looked after our table was very welcoming, efficient & professional. We will be back.

Food was brilliant, dogs were well fed, Zoe was really helpful and good with the dogs. Will be back!!
