I can't say enough good things about this restaurant, its owners, its staff or its food. This past Monday I arrived early to meet my son for lunch. It was 10 minutes before they opened and I had found a parking place right in front of the restaurant. It was still cold outside, in the mid-thirties. A lady and her daughter walked over to the door, realized it was still locked 5 minutes before opening. One of the staff saw the two outside, immediately invited them to come inside out of the cold advising that they would start service in another 5 minutes. That was exactly the way to endear a customer to a business. And this day, the blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream also had that endearing effect.
I'm basing this on service because we came in late and didn't wanna make the stay but I am looking forward to going back real soon to try the food
Alley seems to have gone down. Last 2 times Ribeye was overcooked and tasteless. Salad didn’t even cover bottom of the bowl. French Fries were leftovers and had a dark brown appearance.sad was really good at one time
We love Alley on Main!! Hometown, welcoming feeling with a beautiful bar area. Food is fantastic. I had red snapper at my last visit and it did not disappoint. And don’t for get the Birthday Cake for dessert!!
The food was Amazing and the drinks were sooooo good! Great location too!
Some of the worst food I’ve had in a while. Soup was cold, and tasted like canned Campbells soup. “Grilled cheese” wasn’t even grilled or melted. My wife’s broccoli was so watery. Her fish was way overcooked and flavorless. I’ve been here many times and have had good food. Not this time. Get it together alley.
Visited over the weekend during dinner service. I’ll start by saying our server was great. That’s the only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1. We ordered the seafood pasta, crab cake entree, and a kids chicken tenders. The seafood pasta was so bad I almost sent it back. Mussels were full of sand and extremely gritty. They obviously had not been soaked to purge them of sand prior to cooking. The scallops were about the size of a pencil eraser and had no flavor, and the advertised mahi was nowhere to be found. I could not find a single bit in the entire dish. The broth, which the server raved about, was nearly flavorless and very thin, along with the overcooked bland noodles. The crab cakes were just ok, but it was a very small potion for an entree serving; definitely not worth the $24 price tag. The chicken was good, my kid ate them up, so at least there’s one positive note about the food. Overall, with lots of places in the same area doing things right, I wouldn’t recommend the Alley on Main.
