The Alcove Restaurant & Lounge

The Alcove did not disappoint! The ambiance is second to none - warm, rich, & inviting. The service is top-notch. Our server was amazing, very knowledgeable of the many choices on the menu as well as friendly and efficient. The food was so delicious! We had the spinach salad and chorizo-filled dates wrapped in bacon. Unbelievably good!! The fine balance between sweetness and bacon is a must-try. The French onion soup as well as the soup de jour (beef stew) was made just right - full of rich flavor. The chicken cordon bleu was juicy and full of flavors. Absolutely delicious.

Dinner theatre was excellent, as usual! Food and service seemed even better than normal . Or maybe it has just been a while and I forgot what customer service is supposed to be! Well done by all parties involved!

Delicious! We loved the chicken Caesar salad, the tomato basil soup, the surf and turf, the steak burger and the cheesecake which was abs delicious. Thank you for a wonderful dinner to help us celebrate a a birthday

We were in town for vacation and Alcove came highly recommended. I never order Oysters, but did try theirs and enjoyed them, but they needed salt and lemon to bring the flavors together. For dinner my husband ordered the Beef Wellington w/ whipped potatoes. His potatoes had no flavor. They taste like regular mashed potatoes with no seasoning. His beef wellington was ok, but the meat looked a grey color, and I am assuming this is due to how they prepare it, so a customer's wait time isn't too long, but it is off-putting. I had the hanger steak and whipped potatoes. Potatoes again had no flavor. We both had to add a ton of salt to make them edible. The steak was tough and the sinew was still present and right down the middle, so it made it difficult to eat. The coffee crust on the hanger steak was ok. The salads were fresh. The service was great. We ate at a booth in the bar, and I enjoyed hearing the ladies laugh with their friends.

Best restaurant in this city! Food is amazing! Can't go wrong with choice.
