Always friendly staff, lovely food and a great place for a drink in Chester as hidden away.

Proper old fashioned pub , decked out with WW1 and Cheshire Regiment memorabilia. Timothy Taylor Boltmaker first class pint , kept and poured to perfection . The food is amazing, I had the liver , bacon, and onions today ....delicious, steaming hot ,fantastic on a cold January day . It's as advertised if you want a vast selection of beers , chips , music, tv's and fruit machines you are probably best going elsewhere. This place is an absolute gem
