Great music venue! Had a blast.

Edit: beer garden is just a fancy way of saying: you're allowed to get drunk in the yard. It's a yard where people get drunk like it's king of the hill but Illinois. It's not a great music venue, regardless of who shows up. The sound is bad. The audio quality, is not good. The music is often too loud for the actual volume of the building, or the soundscape created by the brick walls and slot machines. The higher frequencies bounce around until you really can't hear anything. Great musicians in a very middling performance space. The bartenders are good. The place stays clean. There has never been food service as far as I can tell. I don't know where they would have a kitchen.

Bartender friendly and helpful. Although Google shows them as a good place to eat, they do not serve food.
