The taste of the food deserve 5 stars Service quick. Why 2 stars Giving 5 stars will not help you & 3 stars probably will . The door's board advertised 7.00 lunch special , trying to compete and to promote your food. But the$ 7.00 special comes with plastic container as probably was the most expensive element in the dish. I didn't know that I am paying $ 7 for sampling Why anyone return to get feed while getting that tiny dish Even if you create $10.00 special filling dish , it will Be better for you & consumer instead feeling cheated on $ 7. I want you to survive , but you have to do your part , and giving 2.00 worth of food is not going to destroy your business more than support your business. Every consumer understand the worth of dish they getting, plus , there is no difference between serving 300 dishs and serving 30 dishs when it comes to your labor and very minimal as well on the cost of the food. Please do something to make sure consumers comes back. This is urgent and not of waisting time.and I pray for your success

This is a cool little spot. The owner was nice, food was great and the vibe is nice. great date night or chill spot.

Food, service and atmosphere are great

6/20 I walked in the restaurant with my husband and 2 daughters. No greeting. No nothing. The front counter man looked at me like I was lost. I had to ask for a menu in order to get service The bartender was talking to his friend. This bothered my kids and they didn't even want to order anything and they were hungry. I ordered the oxtails. It was a mild spicy to it. I kind of wish they would have stated that on a menu. But it wasn't too spicy. My husband asked for a plate too and I said no. The place didn't come with no veggies just rice and peas. Very boring meal. We are from Boston and every meal comes with veggies or plantains or something. After eating my stomach was killing me. This has never happen to me before. I only ate quarter of the meal. I gave the rest to the trash and didn't find it to be good. Average but not what I was expected, esp after reading the reviews....yall really gasin this restaurant up lol. first start on training your staff to welcome the customers. I end up spending 150$ across the street at the Spanish Bodega. tiping the deli man a 20$ because they greeted us, they were kind, and could tell we were not from NY. I always go to black own business first. I love NY and everyone is usually so kind when you come into the their business. But not this restaurant. I guess my money wasn't good enough. I dont recommend it

Being an older Hispanic woman I don’t really eat outside. I was raised to eat at home. I walked by and was given a flyer by the owners daughter. I came back later on and decided to try. I tried the oxtail with rice and peas and cabbage. The food was rich in flavor . The service was exceptional and the owner was very friendly. I will definitely be returning.

They recently hired a new chef better than the original OMG!!! Food is amazing I’ve tried the entire menu. Hooked fried chicken they killed it! Curry goat finger licking, oxtail hold me! Just eat here they atmosphere is very upscale for Jamaican restaurant. I heard its name comes from the owner being one of 6 children hence the 6th.
