After struggling at a previous restaurant, where we never were served, we left and came here. It was about 9pm, they open till 2am for the night owls. We were asked if we wanted to do BBQ or Skewers. We decided on neither, since my buddy and I just washed our hairs. We didn't want to smell like smokey BBQ going home. My friend ordered the Korean fried chicken, with half parmesan rub and half with soy sauce-honey glaze. They were freaking fantastic, the chicken was crispy and light. The flavors were just right. The meal came with sides of kimchi, edamame, chili-cold tofu, and a cabbage salad. As for me, I ordered something not wimpy on the non-spicy for my friend. I ordered a pork belly dish, it was one of their specialties. It came with thinly sliced radish, sliced fresh garlic, jalapeños slices, a good bean paste, and a very very salty shrimp sauce (not my jam). We both really enjoyed our meals, service was great, the waiter was keeping up with everyone's demands, and the food came out piping hot. Definitely will be back!
Poor service, fine food with crazily high price. No rice were served or asked, we drank up the water on our table and no one came over to refill it. The chicken bone skewers were very hard to cook evenly by yourself and end up being overcooked. When asked the server, they acted as if it's our own fault. Now it makes sense why there are almost no one in the restaurant on a Friday night. Def will never come back again in the future
Enjoyed it! Nice spot, especially for hanging out late at night with friends. Some of the side dishes that were brought out weren’t fresh it tasted. Edamame was cold and flavorless. Service was good! Not great, it did take awhile to get water refills. We left the bottle of water on the side to hint servers we needed refills without pushing the button for attention because they weren’t busy. Food was excellent, really enjoyed the chicken skin that was fried! Would come back for sure!
