The food is good and cheap. But I have to say their customer service is terrible, even answer the phone call. I guess customers were wondering about the open time due to paramedics might change. But they yelled on the phone like “if we close why would I pick up your phone call.timing on Google map. Just check it yourself.i have customers now and busy.ciao.”
This is the only place I know of in the GTA that makes fresh soy milk and tofu desserts. The quality is amazing; tastes great every time. I love their soft tofu dessert with ginger syrup. They also sell a variety of chè, xôi, and fried food (note that this shop does not sell Vietnamese sandwiches, but you can go to the shop right next door for that). Thanh Son Tofu is small and they are always busy but the wait times are not long. The staff serve quickly. Overall, this is a great shop for fresh tofu and Vietnamese snacks.
Be sure to arrive early for the freshest selection of food, things will get sold out if you get there too late. Tofu is amazing here as well as the grab and go items such as the rice rolls. The only thing that wasn’t very good was the bao because the bread was a little hard. They also serve fresh sugar cane juice. Very good prices on food, it’s extremely cheap.
Reminds me of the soy milk that I grew up with. None of the soy milk sold in the chinese supermarkets taste like this.
I love their tofu. I always get the lemongrass & red pepper and the onion, vermicelli, & dry black mushroom fried tofu. Reasonable pricing too.
This place is always busy. I love going for che and snacks. However, I'm not sure what has changed but recently, the sausage has a weird after taste. My mom said they put too much “Han The”. It’s not a pleasant taste at all.
The best fried tofu snacks and soy milk selection. It is cash only, parking in the centre court is limited but there is side parking on the outskirts of the plaza. Really nice to visit in the spring, summer, fall.
