Thai Taste

I went here for my birthday lunch. I was very excited to have some good Thai food. I ordered some new entrees. I also ordered a green curry with tofu , which is my comfort food. The service was not so wonderful. The lady would just drop off the food to our table quickly, no interaction. In fact, she left before she allowed us to say if we needed anything else. I asked for some Sriracha and again, she’d drop it off and did not ask if we needed anything else. Mind you, we were the only table there. When I went for a bite of my green curry, it was very watery in consistency. As a Thai food lover, I knew something was off so I requested to have it redone if possible. The server started to get defensive, “yeah..that’s how it is (speaking to the thin, water-like consistency of the curry)….” I was firm and she just took it away, with no signs of empathy. She came back and just dropped off the redone curry.. and somehow…it had more spice in it, my mouth was burning. Overall, worst customer service and the food was not worth it. I’m sad that my birthday lunch was not a good experience.

Truly a great option if you’re looking for some tasty Thai food. Highly recommend!

I brought three friends with me and we had different dinners. All four of us thought our dishes were delicious and fresh! Will definitely add this to our rotation of favorite restaurants!

Great food, great gluten free options, and accommodating & friendly servers. Will definitely go back! I see the overall review is 4.3 which should definitely be higher. We’ve come here a handful of times and we haven’t experienced these negative reviews some have experienced.

Great food, fair price

Worst pad Thai I've ever had! The other dish ( think flat noodle) was ok. Also, they messed up the delivery order - got Chicken instead of pork! Sticky rice was good.

Fun restaurant with fabulous food. We got the chicken pad thai and yellow curry. Both dishes were amazing.

Best Thai food in Austin. Ive been trying new places all over Austin for over 5 years and finally found the best one in my opinion.

I usually order from here on doordash but decided to go in today. Absolutely adorable decor, very quiet, and the food was delicious. I didn’t realize that they closed at 3 so I came in at around 2:30 and they were very quick, super friendly, and I was out of there as soon as they closed happy as a clam. :) Definitely some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had! Will be coming back hopefully soon!!
