Thai Express Restaurant Toronto

I have come to this location frequently to get my yummy mango tofu bowl and have paid around 15$ as the pretax cost is 14.08 when the meal is made with tofu - as indicated on the sign. The past few times I have went it has been drastically more expensive and my most recent visit was $17.97 when the menu price has remained. I tried to inquire about the price difference as I didn't realize until my receipt printed and they just told me "no no that is how much it is with tofu". It is unfair to be scamming people and not telling them what they are charging me for!!! Sucks because I love this place and the food but can't say id be back with the variable pricing.

- I ordered the Pad See Ew with tofu - portion size was huge, I almost couldn’t finish it -they added too much sauce for me, it was kind of over powering - the tofu was disgusting, it was fried in some weird batter and when I bit it sauce came out - I got the passion fruit tea with pearls (tapioca) it was amazing, better then Jugo Juice bubble tea - overall the drink was delicious but I would skip out on the food, there are better options in Toronto Vegetarian options: Tofu is available

The cashier with eyeglasses was very rude, I just asked him if it’s possible to get my meal without spices, instead of telling me no or we can’t do that sir, sorry. He told me with attitude choice another meal. Come on at least train your self and your attitude. There was another customer behind me and he was staring at her like a criminal, instead of giving the customers a smile and saying to them welcome. Ordered before several other people in line, but the guy made the order last. 17 dollars for a bit of rice and chicken. Quality was terrible and the service was slow and rude. Never go here.

We got a couple of dishes here for lunch time during a weekday. The place was busy, and probably due to that staff was in hectic mode. The food was alright but my pad thai heavy on salt. I needed lots of water...
