The food is authentic and the chef is a Thai chef of course. The green curry and the jasmine rice are the best.
Panang curry is fantastic.
Was starving and just happened to find this place. Artwork is cool. Got the yellow curry but they charge you for rice which is wild; rice should always come with curries. Who eats curries without rice? Chicken in the curry was over cooked and not well seasoned. The curry base was very soupy as well. The potato had zero flavor, seems like they cook everything separately and then add it together so the flavors don’t get soaked up. Dumplings - a little too fried, comes with an aioli dipping sauce which adds creaminess to it but idk if I’m a big fan.
After sitting for ten minutes, while the two young waitresses did their best to avoid doing any work, we left, so I can't comment on the food. We went to another Thai place where the food and service were great, and the prices a little lower. Sorry Thai Delight, but that was our experience.
We were looking for Thai food while wandering around Berkeley. Just ended up in here without a plan. What incredible luck to stumble across phenomenal Thai food. Sure, no bargain, but no good things come cheap. My food had lots of meat, veggies and tofu, was just the right spicy and came in generous servings. I don't know what they eat in Thailand having never been, but this is as good as any Thai food I've had in several western cities.
